Vahagn Hamalbashyan
Vahagn Hamalbashyan pursued his education in the arts, graduating from the National Center of Aesthetics, Fine Arts, and Decorative Art Studio-College in Yerevan, Armenia, from 1991 to 1999. Following this, he continued his studies at the Armenian State Academy of Fine Arts in Yerevan, Armenia, from 1999 to 2005.
Vahagn Hamalbashyan is an established artist of the new generation who diligently pursues research on social transformations, faithfully leaving the results of his inquiries through his own iconography. His large- scale canvases are shaped by the sometimes unrestrained combination of color and image, narrating the story of our civilization amid political, sexual, and endless information flows.
