Ani Arakelyan

Born in 1989 in Armenia, Ani Arakelyan earned a Master’s Degree in Design from the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts in 2012. Prior to that, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Design and Decorative Arts from the same institution in 2010. Her foundational education in fine art and decorative applied art was completed at the National Center of Aesthetics Fine Art and Decorative Applied Art Studio-College, where she trained as a painter from 1999 to 2005.

Ani Arakelyan is a lecturer at the Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction since 2013. She is the co-founder and graphic recorder at GraphicRecordingArmenia since 2017, and has been practicing as a designer since 2011.

“Committed to continuous professional development, Ani has participated in numerous workshops and seminars. In 2023, she engaged in Staff Teaching Mobility at the University of Ecology and Management in Warsaw under the ERASMUS+ programme. She attended the “Magic of Letter Art” seminar at NUACA in Yerevan in 2019 and the “Graphic Recording” workshop by GIZ Armenia in 2017. ”

Ani’s contributions to the academic community include supervising students’ work for a poster exhibition dedicated to the centennial of the Armenian Genocide at NUACA, Yerevan in 2015, for which she received a certificate of recognition.
